Braids, shoes and Aamerik

Her first french braid, she was wanting a braid for school and was so excited when she was done.

I got these cute saddle shoes to go with Tariyah's uniform for school, but they keep un-tying so she wouldn't wear them.  Her other shoes that she does like don't tie either, they have elastic running across them, soooo...I decided to try that with these too.

Lately he has been making these really funny faces when he seems to be curious or confused about something.  It is so cute and I try to capture it, but he moves or turns too quickly and I can't get it.  It is somewhere between the photo on the left and the one below, ha ha...He scrunches his eye brows, and nose, puckers his lips, cocks his head to the side and says "huh?"

I really wish the picture of Walt turned out better, I may have to go back to get one with out the shadows...these are the pictures that are in the Hall of the Disney Casting center where you go for your job interviews and human resources.
More Disney pictures in the Hallway

This is the look he gives when he sees anyone that he knows, leave and he is not going with them.

Halloween in Davenport

Our Halloween started this year on the 27th...the day of our Annual Trunk or Treat/Chili soup feed at Church.  I love Trunk or Treats!
Taiason had no real idea of a costume, so I saw that my friend Jessica had done this for her daughter and I decided to adapt if for Taiason.  We got those small boxes of cereal, ripped them up and stapled them to her shirt and glued pieces of cereal all over.  We even stuck a spoon in one of the boxes.  The she had her large spoon and bowl, but forgot the bowl for the picture.  She was a "Cereal Killer" lol too cute.
Of course we had to have our beautiful Princess :o)

Our cutest little Batman ever!!!
She was a Spider Witch wearing princess shoes.
Some sort of crazy pirate, ha ha
he had to make sure he looked tough

soooo...he did have a theme in mind, sort of...he wanted to be a bike rider, but then added a clown hat, skeleton gloves and even a pirate patch....I think he couldn't make up his mind.

Tired after all the Halloween Trunk or Treatin' fun!!

Then on Halloween night we thought we would go check out the city's idea of a "Safe Halloween Party"
This is the start of the their Haunted Truck, the kids got to go inside the semi truck parked in the back.
This time we had a school girl, 50's girl, a batman/ninja/vampire, Fruit Ninja, green haired spider witch, and a cute witch
His costume was the "Cutest little boy on the block", he played it well!!

This is what we do with our Cotton Candy, the party was fun, free Hot Dogs, Soda/Water, Cookies/Cupcakes, Cotton Candy, Popcorn, and games for the kids.  It kept them busy and me Happy! They even had a costume contest, next year Taiason wants to concentrate and a really unique costume, I think we need to start now, because by the time Halloween comes, we can never afford to do something more than the plain costumes we have.
I saw a really cute scarecrow I think she should go for next year...wish I got a picture of her.

Now these are just a bit creepy, lol

Love her expression, they had this great area for all kinds of pictures, pretty cool.

After we were done at the City Party, I let the kids go to a decorated house at the end of the block, then they made their way up another block and found another "Safe Halloween Party" put on by a church.  It too was free.  So the kids got to do a little bit of Table or Treating, play in a bounce house, get Nachos, Popcorn and Sno Cones....I'd say it was a good night.

Several Disney Days

How lucky am I???  I got to go to Disney World 3 times in less than two weeks.  Once to Epcot and Twice to Magic Kingdom. I must have great friends that love me...thank you so much guys.  This first trip was a date night with Sam, but we took Aamerik along as we know he can be a handful.

Trying to get Aamerik to look at the camera, but Dori and Marlen were more interesting.

Epcot was great, we got to see a lot of things we hadn't seen before.

Magic Kingdom with the gals and a few kids...always fun

decorated for the season, hopefully I will get to see the Christmas decorations too.
Corbin and Aamerik
Aamerik really enjoyed the rides/attractions...so did I of course.

you might be able to see my face, I was in total concentration, lol...this was Buzz Lightyear, an interactive game where you get to do some laser shooting, tons of fun.
Corbin and Zurg
Signs of a good day at the park...

Day 2 at Magic Kingdom with the Toro's...got to come for the preview of the new Fantasyland.
Angie

Tariyah stayed home from school because she was sick, but when I got the call for the invitation to go,it was something I couldn't pass up and Tylenol worked it's wonders and magic, lol

Ok, so I really want the ornament you see above, but just so you know, I will someday own the Precious Moments Belle below, it is just sooooooo me!!!!

Gaston, he was too funny, did a great job.

One of Maurice's inventions, lol

The princess popping leg...

On our way to Ariel's grotto...this is the other new ride in the new Fantasyland.

We got to ride in Seashells.

Those girls in Purple got in trouble for climbing on that...ummm with the rock wall around it, isn't that a given that it is not a toy???  Oh well...

Of Course you gotta throw the Carousel ride in there, that is always a happy face maker.

Great time with the little kiddo's

Angel really, really wanted to ride the "Avenger" themed monorail back to the parking area, so we waited for not 1, not 2, not even 3 or 4 monorails to pass us before this one made it's way back around.  It was worth the wait, if you're gonna have fun and go on an adventure...you gotta do it all the way.
Beside we made Shaun and Jeriann a little jealous, :o)  we love you guys.  It was a little windy so my hair was crazy.  We had a fun night getting to preview the new Fantasyland...we had to leave at 7pm because the park was closing down so they could have their "Not so scary Halloween Party"...there were a lot of people leaving that were not staying for the party as you had to have purchased special tickets for that, but what was so crazy that on a Thursday night, with school the next day...there were probably 3X as many people coming into the park all dressed up and ready to go, as there was people leaving the park and the park was already filled with Halloweener's that got there early and were staying in for the the party.  Crazy...it was massive.  Think I might have to try it one year, just to see what the big Hype is, lol
