We found this idea on Pinterest, Tariyah was so excited to have her toes and fingers done. She was very proud of them. Next she wants blue nails, but I gotta think of some design for it.
This was the awesome sight that I had coming home the other night. It was such a sight to see and I am so excited at how it turned out in the picture.

Changes come and come and come
Have you ever thought about what life would be like with out change? There have been times in my life when I think, this is good...I don't want anything to change, and more often than not, I am not ready for change when it comes, but come it does and usually it is for the better. Especially if it is change from our Heavenly Father.
We have a lot going on right now, but really, things couldn't be better. I feel lighter and happier and I know this is what the Lord is giving to me. He is blessing me and my family.
I have been recently called as the Relief Society President in our ward and while I am bit scared, I'm not scared, does that make sense? I'm calm, I know I have a lot to do, but I feel good and strong about it. This is a testimony that the Lord will give us the strength that we need. I surely didn't have this feeling of confidence and strength before I was set apart.
Change is also coming with Sam's career and job. He has finished "clearing out" of Hunter Army Airforce Base and is officially on vacation. Come September 1st, he will officially be in the Reserves and starting a new chapter here in FL with the rest of us. It will be a challenge to have everyone in the house 24/7 but with persistence in our Scripture study and Prayer, it can only get better and be a benefit to all of us.
Teighlor, Taiason, Jaemyn and Jairyn have been able to spend a little bit of time with Meema while they are in WA. She has taken them bowling a few times and to the park. Teighlor was able to connect with a few friends and "hang out". It sounds like overall they have enjoyed their visit with their dad.
Aaliyah has had a bit more difficult of time, she has enjoyed staying with her Grama and visiting with her mom, but she has been bored quite often and even had times when she was at her mothers where she was with out, TV, anything to do and no A/C. Meema is picking her up tomorrow so her last two weeks in WA should get better and really enjoyable for her.
Tariyah, Aamerik and I have been busy adjusting to my new calling, me looking for ways to be more organized at home this school year, and we even went to Lake Eva Aquatic Center. Tariyah was in heaven, she kept asking before this that she is wanting a "big pool".
It is hard to believe that summer is coming to an end, at least in the sense of school year but the fun won't end yet. :o) After the kids get back, we still have a few items of family fun to throw in the mix.
I have had a really good time being with just Tariyah and Aamerik and the house (ok, really the kids bathroom) has stayed clean. I only have to do laundry once a week and the loads are small. The house is quieter most of the time and the bickering is way down. Is it horrible that I really haven't "missed" the kids but I think about them often and wonder what they are doing. I think I know where they are and that they will be back so I am taking advantage of this time that I have. I love my children and with 2 weeks left before they come home, I have to admit, I am getting a little excited. It will be a good year, I can feel it.

Little more vacation
I can't believe I haven't posted this yet, lol...guess that's what happens when you get busy and just forget, all I did was upload pictures, but didn't write anything, I guess that is 1/2 the battle tho.
Teighlor, Taiason, Jaemyn, Jairyn and Aaliyah left on June 13th for Washington so they can visit the "other" parent. We here at home, continued to have a little vacation time. Mom, Janie and Haidyn were able to stay until June 29th which happened to be Haidyn's 3rd birthday.
Below are a few photos of the fun that we had.
Aamerik enjoying water play outside.
Mom, Janie and Haidyn had another day left on their Disney passes, so they went and spent a little time at Hollywood Studios and then they went to Downtown Disney.
Haidyn is standing right in front of our car where we parked and just on the other side of the fence was the beach, it was really nice to be so close.
Me and my little sister, Janie
Playing in a little moat...the tide was coming up, we had to keep moving back.
Guess the water surprised Aamerik a little.
Sam pointing at me to try and get Aamerik to look at me,
I think Aamerik was looking at the wave that was coming...

Layla enjoying being outside but being sure to stay away from the water.

Mom and Tariyah took a Train trip to VA to visit my brother and his family. So we went to New Smyrna Beach. It was really nice, the waves were big and a lot of thick shells that now accent our front yard.

The ride home
We took one final trip to Animal Kingdom. It was pretty nice, but didn't get to do all that we wanted, it rained off and on. But what we did get to see was great. Guess that just means I'll have to go again.
